The first thing you notice is how incredibly light and compact this “one of a kind” chair really is. My office make up bag is bigger than the tiny "tote bag" the folded chair comes in.
Setting it up took less than thirty seconds - it almost assembles itself. Helinox make high quality expedition gear - they've had plenty of practice at keeping things simple.
I found the empty tote bag an ideal place to stow the iPod and my car keys as I settled down to put my new friend “through it’s paces”. That was just before I went to sleep. Yes . . . it really is that comfortable.
Price is around $120, which is very reasonable for this high quality innovation. Try your local outdoor adventure store but they could soon be in short supply. During my hour on the beach, five people asked me where they could buy one".
